We took Arty (the kitten) to see our vet in San Antonio when he was two months old. He was diagnosed with mega colon, his colon was enlarged to three times normal. He was so tiny we were concerned that he might not survive surgery. Sioux was kind enough to take Arty in and work on him free of charge. A couple of months later we decided to get a second opinion and took him to Texas A&M Veterinary College. I am happy that they said he no longer had mega colon and did not recommend surgery.
