The QuickeningWhat is The Quickening?The Quickening is a profound energetic healing that assists you in letting go of the old concepts and belief systems that no longer serve you and replaces them with information that is whole, healthy, divine and complete. The Quickening Foundation first clears out any negative energies that may be causing interference, restores your energetic field to it's perfection and upgrades your spirit guides to help you be better able to process and integrate Shadow components of self. The Quantum Leap includes the transformational "I AM" Session that redefines the beliefs, energy and dynamics within your relationships- to yourself, to all others, and to God and the Universe. There are numerous modules that address particular issues such as Love, Safety, Power, Intimacy, Health, Money etc., and the Life Story that is created by your practitioner specifically for you regarding your personal life experiences. What do you mean by concepts and belief systems?As you were growing up, you learned all kinds of things. Some things were learned through your own personal experiences, some you learned as you witnessed others and some were taught by others in regards to their experiences. Consider these scenarios: a) Missy touched the family dog while it was eating and it snapped and growled The concept learned is that dogs are dangerous. The belief system formed depends on variables such as how frightened and/or hurt Missy was, how others reacted, how old Missy was, and how capable she was at processing the experience at the time it occurred. The belief system formed could be:
Let's say Missy was 5 years old, the one that was bitten was her sibling and all Missy remembers is blood, crying, fear, anger and that the family dog left and never came back home. Unable to understand and process that experience, Missy stores it away labeled "dogs bite". She grows up with a life-long fear of dogs or eventually, when she is able, Missy addresses and resolves the issue. What is Shadow?Our Shadow is made up of all those irrational concepts and belief systems that we learn while growing up. Let's consider Missy's fear of dogs. Since we live in a society where a lot of people have dogs as companions, an unresolved fear of dogs could be very limiting. It is unlikely that Missy would go to the homes of friends with dogs, date guys who have dogs, choose an animal related occupation, all of which really limit her options! If Missy chooses to avoid resolving her irrational fear, her Shadow can create all sorts of situations involving dogs. The more actively she resists the issue, the more dramatic the dog scenarios will become. If Missy firmly holds onto the belief that all dogs bite, then even the sweetest and friendliest of dogs will growl and bite her to maintain her reality that all dogs bite. Our Shadow is fueled and sustained by fear and will go to great lengths to preserve itself.
